I have been asked to review a Dell laptop computer. Here is my review on a Dell laptop computer. Experts familiar with the Dell Latitude series: portable solid business with good potential for expansion. The Latitude 2100, new family member, does not appear to meet this definition, at first glance. It has colorful, awkward and heavy. If this were true, it would be a really distinctive in the landscape of netbooks as they are usually not has much to offer in terms of audio performance.

The test has disillusioned. True, both speakers produce an acceptable sound to hear music in the background and without great pretensions, but we are far from high fidelity. The quality is just above what is available on other netbooks; do not expect low or medium-bodied clean highs.

How it was possible to reach a total weight of 1.16 kilograms becomes obvious just looking at the battery life. Fujitsu provides the basic version of the M2010 with a relatively small battery Lithium Ion 25.92 Wh (3 cells), which leaves no hope for miracles whatsoever. At least in the specific official is mentioned twice as big as a battery, 6 cells. On the one hand can almost double the time without power, the other ads weight (for a total of 1.33 kg, according to Fujitsu) and, moreover, clearly protruding from the case.

Nothing new on either front performance. The combination of a CPU Atom N280 with GMA 950 graphics chip, both of Intel, provides enough power to do simple office work with an acceptable speed. Do not expect comparable performance with dual-core processors. The Fujitsu M2010 reward users with very low emissions, and acoustic insulation. The speakers have not met to expectations.

The same goes for battery life, at least with the version 3 standard cells. Less than two hours in WLAN are not much for a netbook and even the 2 ½ hours with the best consumption profile change things.

The development and stability of large houses 18.4-inches is good, despite the sensitive surfaces to dirt. The input devices do not give great grounds to complain. In particular, the keyboard with good pressure point and discrete white light are nice. Beyond this, control multimedia practical and chic and full connectivity is impressive (while we are recommending spending 50 Euros for the model with a better CPU, second hard disk drive and BluRay). Sound can be considered above average. The low temperature and noise level are rare.

The battery and display are good, despite the limited vertical viewing angles and reflected in part obvious. The gaming performance is good with low resolution. The Radeon HD 5650 is often stressed with heavy games in native resolution of 1920×1080 FullHD, therefore players may prefer a more powerful graphics solution as the GeForce GTX or Radeon HD 5850 260M.

If you search a laptop without any major weaknesses and a good overall configuration and an attractive price, you’ll be pleased by the Aspire 8942G.

A big advantage is its Aspire 8942G moderate development of noise in quiet environments. The handset is just perceptible in idle mode with 32.5-33.1 dB (A). The hard drive is almost covered by the noise of the fan, with its 33.1 dB (A). The volume increases, but never uncomfortable with a level of 34.0-34.1 dB (A) under load. The optical drive feels more when projecting DVDs with 35.0 dB (A). However, the drive becomes very noisy when accessing data and bother with a high noise level.

Equally annoying is the fan of the case, as mentioned, fairly quiet and runs smoothly emitting only some noise. The only noise you hear when you close your ear to the homes. However our prototype could be an exception. In comparison, the Aspire 8940G model stands out for its 45.4 dB (A) under load.

Not only has the noise stood nicely over its competitors, but also the surface temperatures. Both the bottom, with a maximum of 22.1 ° C, the upper one, with a maximum of 23.6 ° C, was pleasantly cool in sleep mode. The bottom easily warms up under load with just 26.0 ° C. You can keep your knees 8942G without hesitation – of course until the weight will be felt. The upper side sometimes warms up to 31.2 ° C under load (area of the left wrist). 31.2 ° C have a high temperature, but not annoying to your palms. The Aspire 8940G is very warm with a maximum temperature of 41.1 ° C on the bottom and 42.0 ° C on the top.

Most notebooks are completely inadequate when it comes to sound quality of speakers. The Aspire 8942G does not deserve many reproaches thanks to built-in 5.1, which includes a subwoofer, called Tuba, can provide a sound above average.
